So it's been merely 2 years since I left DeviantArt, after this place which used to be my homebase for sharing my art and comics got ruined to its core.... only now for me to learn that "ruined" doesn't begin to describe all the other things happening to it now.
This person summed it up nicely:
After I left 2 years ago, I kept my art here because there was so much history attached to it. Now I simply had to delete it. What hurts me the most about it is losing the comment section, because of the connections I made with you cool people. It was one of the most positive experiences to interact with you, and helped me shape my artist side.
If you want to follow me for art updates, I'll still be on Instagram (JWiesnerArt) and FurAffinity (JWiesner).
My FurAffinity is also where you'll find my webcomic "Luminous Red", the reboot of "Luminahi".

When this year started, I also made an account on Twitter (JWiesner_Art) but meanwhile, this turned out to be a mistake too. Maybe, probably, Twitter will be the next site I'll leave.
Starting to doubt that there are any large platforms that aren't run by greedy people which don't give a fuck about artists or other accounts which are not bots or AI's.
I might make a Tumblr account someday, but I don't know yet. If I do, I'll announce it on my other social media.
birthday messagesso, if you've used, portfolio before, it's a bit of a butt and gives you a text limit, so I decided to put it in a separate thingHNNNNN!!! :bademoticon:
A very Happy Birthday, JWiesner.
We did this collection as a gift to you from all the people to whom you matter. We wanted to give you something which will hopefully help in times when you're feeling bad, a reminder that we care about you and that we are happy you are here with us and got the chance to know you. You are a kind and good person as well as intellectual with great philosophic ideas. Not only that, you help people; your artwork is really inspiring for many and your honesty in sharing your struggle helps others to not feel alone.
So this is a gift to thank you and to tell you that you have many friends here. Those who participated in this are only a few compared to those who couldn't. Some people unfortunately didn't have the time. Also there were people who couldn't draw something but still contr
